Requirements
You will be required upon arrival to sign a hunting contract (This an insurance obligation).
Please make sure to bring any and all medications you require with you as we are in a remote area while hunting.
If you wear contacts, please bring 2 pairs and spare contacts with ample contact re-wetting drops.
Please consider disclosing any medical complications that may affect your health, so we are aware. i.e.: asthma, diabetes.
Please advise if you have any allergies or food preferences
i.e.: if you are gluten free or have a nut allergy so we may plan in advance.
Broadsound Safaris strongly recommends a Travel Insurance in case of any unforeseen weather, delay or incident.
All payments will be in accordance to Broadsound Safaris Australia.
All payment must be made before the hunt begins.
Bow Hunting Recommendations
Bow sight in at 30-40-50 yards and has to be proficient to at least 50 yds.
We have a bow range at the lodge so you may check your bow after travel before you commence hunt.
For deer and other medium game a good 2 blade broadhead is recommended such as one in the excellent VPA (Vantage Point Archery) range or at least a Helix or at least 150 gn’s.
Total arrow weight should be in the 450 to 550 grain range.
Hunters should consider using light weight shafts and adding brass or steel inserts directly behind the broadhead to achieve the desired weight. Weight forward arrows give superior penetration.
For Banteng a good strong 2 blade broadhead of 150 grains is suggested such as those again in the VPA stable.
Total arrow weight should be in the 650 to 900 grain range.
Again hunters should consider using light weight shafts of a small diameter with brass or steel inserts directly behind the broadhead to bring the total arrow weight up to the desired weight.
