JAVAN RUSA DEER
This animal has the largest antlers of any deer species in the world when comparing antler mass to body mass. Typical antler is a 3x3 configuration though its not uncommon to find animals with multiple extra points. The Rusa in Central Queensland produce exceptional trophy quality. Every season the average antler length consistently measures above 35”. Trophy's up to 42” have been taken in the past.

RED DEER
The red deer is one of the largest deer species in Australia. They take on a unique look in Central Queensland and closely follow the Sambar in body size. Antlers typically measure 38 to 42" in length and from 12 to 18 points in total. 6x6 Stags are common and readily available!

SAMBAR DEER
The big and graceful Sambar attain a height of 102 to 160cm (40 to 63") at the shoulder and may weigh as much as 546kg (1,204lb), though more typically 100 to 350kg (220 to 770lb). The large, rugged antlers are typically rusine, the brow tines being simple and the beams forked at the tip, so that they have only three tines. The antlers are typically from 70 to 85cm (28-34") long in fully adult individuals.

PERSIAN FALLOW DEER
Persian fallow deer are physically larger than fallow deer weighing 40-100kg (90-220lb). They are extremely rare and not to long ago they were almost extinct but numbers have recently increased. The beautiful coat closely resembles that of a Chital Deer. Broadsound Safaris has the only huntable breeding herd in the world.

CHITAL DEER
Widely recognized as the most beautiful deer species found anywhere in the world today. Broadsound Safaris have an abundance of Chital in there area that are available for trophy hunting. Trophy antlers start at 26” and can measure up to 36”.

HOG DEER
Broadsound Safaris offers ranch hunting for Hog Deer. This is one of only a small number of huntable herds to be found anywhere in the world. Hog deer are very elusive and getting a mature stag can be quiet challenging. Trophies start at 12” but can reach 18” plus in exceptional animals.

BANTENG
A mature Banteng Bull is considered to be the Premier Game Animal in the South Pacific. Full grown Bulls can top 700kg's. They are one of the most difficult bovines in the world to hunt. Mature Bulls have big deep chests with small rear ends that closely resemble the Indian Guar. Trophy class animals will have horns that measure from 16 to 22” with large bases often measure in excess of 14” in circumference.

DINGO
Dingoes are native to Australia and are the largest terrestrial predator available here. They also play an important role as an apex predator but regarded as a pest in rural area's where they feed off livestock and can over populate in certain areas.

BLACKBUCK
The blackbuck, also known as the Indian antelope, is a medium-sized antelope native to India and Nepal. It stands up to 74 to 84cm (29 to 33") high at the shoulder. Males weigh 20–57kg (44–126lb), with an average of 38kg (84lb). Females are lighter, weighing 20–33kg (44–73lb) or 27kg (60lb) on average. Males have 35–75cm (14–30") long corkscrew horns, and females occasionally develop horns, as well.

WILD BOAR
The wild boar is a bulky, massively built suid with short and relatively thin legs. Males average 110–130kg (240–290lb) in weight, 95cm (37") in shoulder height and 160cm (63") in body length, while females weigh 95kg (209lb), reach 85–90cm (33–35") in shoulder height, and reach 145cm (57") in body length.
